6th June: There is definitely something about us and obscure tyres! We continued our search for a BF Goodrich Mud Terrain  KM3 265/65 R17 tyre for the caravan at Tyre Power and Tyrell’s/ none to be had in Broome. We tried to order one for 10 days time in Karratha, otherwise it will be Geralton or Perth.

At Clark picked up a couple of interlocking rubber tiles for a door mat for the van for caravan parks where one is parked on bare earth- read dust!

We then walked the streets of Broome till we found Haven for coffee and mango muffins. We then did a small shop at Coles and then went to the visitor center for some brochures and maps. After that, on this somewhat boring day I did the washing!

Nic and I went to Matso’s brewery for one of their ginger beers and mango beers for sunset but the only problem was their venue faced east!

Jill cooked jackfruit tacos and I fried some portobello mushrooms with chilli jam for our dinner after which we played Scrabble, and as usual I was soundly beaten. Jill and Craig are so good with 2 letter obscure words like qi, and za, and tonight Jill contributed coxing!!
